What to check first when reading Tai Yang
Brightness matters more for Tai Yang than for any other major star. In the daytime positions of Mao, Chen, Si and Wu it shines outward and its effort is noticed; in the night positions of Xu, Hai and Zi it is just as warm but often works unseen. Tai Yang is paired with Tai Yin, and the two share a palace in Chou and Wei. Hua Ji means effort that is misunderstood; Hua Lu means reputation that brings resources.

Fallen does not mean bad; it means Tai Yang’s warmth is harder to see. People with a fallen Tai Yang are just as generous but tend to work for others’ benefit. With Hua Lu, Hua Quan or helper stars alongside, the effort pays off more.
