Remember that Tian Liang meets the problem first and resolves it after: the classics say it can get through hard passes, which assumes there is a pass to get through, so the palace it sits in often has a few turning points. With Tai Yang it cares about reputation, with Tian Ji it reasons, with Tian Tong it nurtures. Hua Lu can tangle it in favours owed; Hua Quan gives it the backbone to take charge.
