Tian Fu: The Treasury Star, steady, conserving, managing
Wherever Tian Fu lands, you want to hold on to and manage that area well. In the Wealth Palace you save and value security, in the Property Palace you care about home and assets, in the Career Palace you are good at running what already exists. Tian Fu brings stability and tolerance; it would rather take good care of what it has than conquer new ground.
Where Tian Fu sits on the chart
Tian Fu is the starting point of the Tian Fu group. It mirrors Zi Wei across the Yin–Shen axis (Zi Wei in Yin puts Tian Fu in Yin; Zi Wei in Mao puts Tian Fu in Chou; and so on), and Tai Yin, Tan Lang, Ju Men, Tian Xiang, Tian Liang, Qi Sha and Po Jun are then counted forward from Tian Fu.

Brightness
Exalted: Zi, Chou, Yin, Chen, Wei and Xu; Strong: Wu and You; Favorable: Mao, Si, Shen and Hai.
We use the Complete Book brightness table; other schools’ tables differ in places. Bright means the star’s traits flow easily, fallen means they take more effort or go astray more easily; neither means good or bad luck.
Transformations of Tian Fu
In the Complete Book ten-stem table this site uses, Tian Fu never becomes Lu, Quan, Ke or Ji. When you read Tian Fu, look at the transformations of the stars sharing or facing its palace, and at the two palaces flanking it.
What to check first when reading Tian Fu
With Tian Fu, check whether the treasury is full. Di Kong or Di Jie empty it, so things look steady but are tight; Lu Cun or Hua Lu fill it, and it grows the more you keep it. Tian Fu itself never transforms, so look at its partner (Zi Wei, Wu Qu or Lian Zhen) and at Qi Sha in the opposite palace. Like Zi Wei, Tian Fu never falls.
What the data says
How we counted: this site’s engine cast one Zi Wei chart for every day from 1960 to 2005 (birth hour drawn by a fixed-seed random sample), 16,802 charts in all. These figures describe how chart structures are distributed; they do not measure anyone’s fortune.

Why does Tian Fu have no Four Transformations?
In the ten-stem table this site uses (the Complete Book system), Tian Fu is not among any stem’s Lu, Quan, Ke or Ji, so it never transforms. Read the transformations of the stars sharing or facing its palace instead.
