With Zi Wei in your Siblings Palace, the siblings and peers around you tend to have strong opinions and real weight, and they often come across as more of a natural leader than you do. The relationship usually carries a bit of mutual comparison and mutual respect.

Siblings and peers

People with Zi Wei here often have capable, well-placed people in their circle of peers who can offer resources and direction. The lesson is that both sides have their pride: when you disagree, neither backs down, so you need to learn to divide the work instead of fighting over who leads.

With Zi Wei in the Siblings Palace, the major star of the Life Palace changes with the branch; the table below lists it for each branch.

Siblings and spouse

Counting one palace backward from Zi Wei always lands on Tian Ji, and the Spouse Palace always sits one palace backward from the Siblings Palace, so anyone with Zi Wei in the Siblings Palace has Tian Ji in the Spouse Palace: your closest peers and your partner are often the two relationships that sit side by side in your life. When Zi Wei is in the Siblings Palace, the Property Palace always holds Lian Zhen. Zi Wei, Lian Zhen and Wu Qu always form a triad, and the Siblings and Property palaces take up two of its corners. The star in the Friends Palace is not fixed.

Bright and fallen positions

When Zi Wei is bright, your peers have real ability and are glad to give you a hand. In a neutral position, your peers have plenty of pride but not always the ability to match, and saving face can become an issue between you. Zi Wei with Po Jun (Chou or Wei)

• Zi Wei with Hua Quan (born in a Ren year): For people born in a Ren year, Zi Wei takes Hua Quan in the Siblings Palace: someone forceful sits among your peers, so settle who leads before you work together. In our sample, about 9.3% of charts with Zi Wei in the Siblings Palace carry the birth-year Hua Quan.
• Zi Wei with Hua Ke (born in a Yi year): For people born in a Yi year, Zi Wei takes Hua Ke in the Siblings Palace: your peers are well regarded and well mannered, and the relationship is a dignified one.
