With Qi Sha in your Siblings Palace, your siblings or peers are headstrong and independent, each forging their own path, and the relationship is direct and forceful.

People with Qi Sha here find competition and mutual help side by side among their peers. Classical texts often call Qi Sha in this palace "solitary"; this site makes no judgment about sibling ties or family size. The modern reading is that your peers each stand on their own, and what holds you together is respect rather than closeness for its own sake.

With Qi Sha in the Siblings Palace, the major star of the Life Palace changes with the branch; the table below lists it for each branch.

Siblings and spouse

Counting one palace backward from Qi Sha always lands on Tian Liang, and the Spouse Palace always sits one palace backward from the Siblings Palace, so anyone with Qi Sha in the Siblings Palace has Tian Liang in the Spouse Palace: your closest peers and your partner are often the two relationships that sit side by side in your life. When Qi Sha is in the Siblings Palace, the Friends Palace always holds Tian Fu and the Property Palace always holds Po Jun: your own people are headstrong, while friends and subordinates outside are, if anything, steadier.

Bright and fallen positions

Qi Sha is bright in the Siblings Palace most of the time: your peers have real ability and stand with you when it counts. Qi Sha is never fallen; when it shares the palace with Zi Wei, your peers are even keener to take charge. Birth-year transformations in the Siblings Palace

Under the Four Transformations table of the Complete Book of Zi Wei Dou Shu, Qi Sha never transforms, so Qi Sha in the Siblings Palace never carries a birth-year Hua Lu, Hua Quan, Hua Ke or Hua Ji of its own.
