Zi Wei in the Wealth Palace: How You Earn, and Where the Money Goes

Zi Wei in the Wealth Palace means you earn with a sense of scale and dignity. Rather than scraping together small sums through sheer grind, you do better holding resources, managing other people’s money, or rising in an organisation to a seat where you decide the budget.

Your attitude to money

Zi Wei’s money is money that comes with a position: once you have authority and a name, income tends to follow. The catch is that you also spend to keep up appearances, caring about style, social obligations and quality. You won’t notice it while income is high, but when income drops, this is where things are hardest to hold together.

With Zi Wei in the Wealth Palace, the Life Palace always holds Lian Zhen and the Career Palace always holds Wu Qu; Zi Wei, Lian Zhen and Wu Qu always form a triad. You yourself are principled and tactful, your work style is practical and execution-focused, and Zi Wei in the Wealth Palace lends the money you earn a sense of position and scale.

Bright and fallen positions

Where your money comes from can't be separated from your personality and the way you work; how you spend it is tied to the Mind Palace, which stands for your state of mind and what you enjoy. "Empty palace" means the palace has none of the fourteen major stars; in that case you read it through the stars of the opposite palace.

Zi Wei alone, facing Tan Lang (Zi or Wu)
