Tan Lang in the Wealth Palace means you earn through socialising, talent and opportunity. Your income comes from many directions, with frequent chances of unexpected gains, and of unexpected costs too.

Your attitude to money

Tan Lang’s money comes fast and goes fast. Classical texts say Tan Lang meeting Huo Xing or Ling Xing in the Wealth Palace suggests sudden windfalls, but they warn just as clearly of sudden falls. Tan Lang’s challenge is desire: when you want many things, money doesn’t stay.

• How you earn: You suit sales, entertainment, food and drink, marketing, the arts and social roles, and you also suit having several income streams.
• How you spend: You value enjoyment and love trying new things; socialising and hobbies are your main expenses.
• Financial risk: Speculation and impulse spending; with Huo Xing or Ling Xing, sharp rises and sharp falls.

Life, Wealth and Career: money is tied to who you are and what you do

With Tan Lang in the Wealth Palace, the Life Palace always holds Qi Sha and the Career Palace always holds Po Jun; the Sha-Po-Lang trio always forms a triad. You yourself are driven and willing to fight for things, your work involves big changes and new ventures, and money comes through Tan Lang’s social life and opportunities.
