Which star takes Ke in your birth year
The birth-year Four Transformations are set by the heavenly stem of your birth year: people born in a Jia year get Hua Ke on one star, people born in a Yi year on another. The table lists the star for each of the ten stems. If that star sits in your Travel Palace, this page describes your chart. Tap a star name to read about it in the Travel Palace.

What we measured
How we counted: our engine cast one Zi Wei chart for every day from 1960 to 2005, with the birth hour drawn by a fixed-seed random sample, 16,802 charts in all. This shows how chart structures are distributed; it says nothing about anyone’s fortunes.
In our sample, about 8.4% of people have the birth-year Hua Ke in the Travel Palace; the most common stars are Tai Yin (22.3%), Wen Qu (10.9%), Wu Qu (10.5%). Hua Ke spreads fairly evenly over the palaces, and no palace is especially rare. The real differences lie in which star takes Ke, how bright that star is, and what other stars share the palace or sit opposite it.
