How the opposite palace is pulled in

Ji clashes with the opposite Spouse Palace: work pressure easily comes home into the relationship, and your partner can feel it.

When you read the birth-year Hua Ji, always look at the opposite palace too. Tradition says "Ji clashes with the opposite palace": the palace Ji sits in is what you care about, and the palace it clashes with is what gets pulled along. Further reading: Hua Ji in the Spouse Palace.

Hua Ji marks what you care about most, hold on to hardest and pour the most into, and that is often where you grow the most depth. We do not follow the reading that "Ji means bad luck." We do not predict marriage, children, parents’ fortunes, wealth or health, and we do not read the Health Palace at all.
