Zi Wei + Po Jun is one of the sixty Life Palace star groups in Zi Wei Dou Shu and appears in the Chou and Wei branches. First we look at how these stars behave in Zi Wei, then where they land on the four MBTI axes, and finally we set the two systems side by side.
Zi Wei + Po Jun in Zi Wei
Zi Wei + Po Jun only ever appears in the Chou and Wei palaces, and in both places the two stars sit exalted or strong, so the combination carries real force. Zi Wei (the Emperor) wants to lead and to look dignified; Po Jun (the Vanguard) is the star of spending and tearing down, the one that knocks the old thing over and starts again. Put them together and you get someone who is not content to follow the existing rules: when they see where an organization is stuck, their first thought is often “replace the whole thing,” and they actually do it. The old texts say this pairing makes “a disloyal minister and an unfilial son.” Read today, the fairer version is someone who does not defer to authority and wants to make their own calls.
The opposite palace holds Tian Xiang (the Minister): when the Life Palace is in Chou, Tian Xiang sits in Wei as favorable; when it is in Wei, Tian Xiang sits in Chou as exalted. Tian Xiang stands for rules and a sense of proportion, and from across the chart it pulls Zi Wei + Po Jun's drive back a little. So these people tear things down, but most of them still sketch out the new order. The Wealth Palace holds Wu Qu + Qi Sha and the Career Palace holds Lian Zhen + Tan Lang: money comes from hard pushing, career from skill and connections. The whole triangle is made of active stars, and life often includes several big turns that the person starts themselves.

On the four MBTI axes: ENTJ
These are the star-group scores (Life Palace in full, opposite palace half, Wealth and Career a quarter each); positive leans E, N, T, J and negative leans I, S, F, P. An axis at 0 is a tie at the star-group level; we default to ENTJ’s letter.
Extraversion scores 3.13, among the higher groups of the sixty star systems. Zi Wei wants to stand in front, Po Jun wants to go on the offensive, and Tian Xiang in the opposite palace is not reserved either. People with this combination rarely hang back waiting for others to decide.
Intuition is only 0.63, a slight lean toward N. Po Jun looks at “the new situation that hasn't happened yet” and Zi Wei looks at the big direction, but Wu Qu + Qi Sha in the Wealth Palace is very practical and pulls the score back toward the middle.
Thinking scores 2.25, a clear T. Zi Wei values decisiveness, Po Jun is not soft on personal feelings, and with Wu Qu + Qi Sha in the Wealth Palace, decisions start with whether something will work; feelings come second.

That is exactly why its J is unstable: it wants to build order, but it is naturally unwilling to accept order someone else set.

- Zi Wei + Po Jun decides firmly, and the ENTJ's Extraverted Thinking also asks “will this work?” first. Both warn of the same blind spot: doing the right thing, but saying it in a way that hurts people.
- No patience for inefficiency
- Po Jun can't stand dithering, and the ENTJ dislikes inefficient processes. Faced with a stalled organization, the first reaction of both is to roll up their sleeves and reorganize it.

- MBTI treats personality as fairly stable preferences. Zi Wei has decade and yearly periods: Zi Wei + Po Jun pushes harder in a Sha-Po-Lang decade and settles down in a Tian Fu or Tian Xiang decade. Looking different from one decade to the next is normal in Zi Wei.
