Earth does not move, yet everything grows on it. People with Earth as a favorable element usually need ground to stand on: steady relationships, trust and assets built up over time, a place they can always go back to.
The nature of Earth
The nature of Earth is to carry and to steady. It does not shine like Fire or flow like Water; its value is that it can be relied on. So Earth stands for credibility, honesty, accumulation, mediation and coordination, and for anything that takes years to build: property, long-standing clients, a relationship of many years.
In our engine's sample, Earth is the least often favorable of the five elements, about 40.9%. It is most often favored by balanced or weak Metal and Earth Day Masters: to Metal, Earth is Resource; to Earth, it is its own kind. The same "Earth is favorable" is Wealth to a Wood Day Master but Peers to a Earth Day Master: one should turn ability into income, the other should find partners to carry things with. Earth as a favorable element FAQ
If Earth is my favorable element, do I have to wear yellow?
No. Yellow and brown are weak aids. What people who favor Earth really need is stability: a regular routine, relationships and assets built over years. That does far more than an extra yellow shirt.
What jobs suit people who favor Earth?
Broadly, real estate, management, HR, insurance, consulting. But check which Ten God Earth is to you. If it is Wealth, the point is to earn from Earth industries; if it is Resource, to study and get qualified in that field; if it is the Officer, to take on responsibility inside a structured organization.
Is more Earth always better?
No. Too much Earth is too much Resource for a Metal Day Master, the classical "too much Earth buries Metal," and too much Officer for a Water Day Master. Favorable means in the right amount; once Earth becomes a burden, Wood is used to break it up.
Which years are good for people who favor Earth?
